Cellar Door EDC beads

Handmade in California by Tim Markel, the Cellar Door beads are the 82nd one-time shop-drop by the Orange County-based maker, the first Cocobolo beads since the Kings Casket release in 2023, and just the sixth CW wood-series drop ever.

Cocobolo is a rare exotic Central American hardwood, prized for its fiery reds and dark, glowing grain that feels almost cartoonish. Its natural oils can cause severe reactions for those who cut or sand it, which is why many makers avoid working with it altogether. Once polished, though, it’s perfectly safe to handle and EDC.

Cocobolo is notoriously difficult to source because it grows in limited regions of Central America and is tightly controlled under international trade laws. Even when legally obtained, the usable heartwood is a small portion of the tree, so supplies disappear quickly, snatched up by fine instrument makers and luxury knife makers.

Born from a passion for craftsmanship, every Copper Wagon EDC bead is carefully designed, assembled, turned, and polished in very small batches. Every Copper Wagon EDC bead is one-of-a-kind. Past drops/themes are not repeated.

The Cellar Door beads were fine tuned to work perfectly on your standard 6mm spin-sticks/bead-caddies, or as a lanyard bead, or zipper-pull. 

Every CW bead comes to you with a signed certificate of authenticity, themed paracord, and limited edition swag.
