Gravity Map EDC beads
Handmade in California by Tim Markel, the Gravity Map EDC beads are the 101st shop-drop by the Orange County maker and the first CW drop to feature crystalized Zr/Ti. Each bead was meticulously hand-turned, then acid etched and flame anodized. Although the finished solid beads are essentially non-flammable, the machining process is extremely dangerous. When zirconium-titanium is cut, ground, or sanded, it produces fine chips and dust that can ignite violently, making fire risk in the workshop unavoidable.
Born from a passion for craftsmanship, every Copper Wagon EDC bead is carefully designed, assembled, turned, and polished in very small batches. Every Copper Wagon EDC bead is one-of-a-kind. Past drops/themes are not repeated.
Attach your Copper Wagon EDC beads to your favorite pieces of EDC gear as additional grip points while also elevating their presence in your loadout. Each meticulously crafted bead possesses a unique, evolving character and enduring charm, designed to withstand the test of time and the rigors of everyday life, ensuring it becomes a cherished heirloom for generations to come.
The Gravity Map EDC beads were fine-tuned to work perfectly on your standard 6mm spin-sticks/bead-caddies, or as a knife lanyard bead, or zipper-pull.
A total of 12 Gravity Map beads were made, but only 11 are available through the shop-drop. While the beads in this series all closely resemble one another, each shows subtle variations in size and color. Individual beads may display more/mostly yellow, purple, blue, gray, or any combination of these tones.
Please note: With regular use, the anodized surface may gradually wear, revealing a natural patina over time.
