The ProtoPlay beads are the 69th one-time shop-drop and the very first Copper Wagon collab-drop.

The ProtoPlay beads started their lives in California where the initial material stacks were designed and assembled into blanks before being sent to the talented Texas-based maker Nik Garst of NRG who designed and machined the final shapes you see today. There are two sets of ProtoPlay beads that will drop in each shop: NRG’s ProtoPlay beads contain brass lanyard tubes, and the Copper Wagon beads contain copper lanyard tubes. Each maker put their own respective polish/finish on their shop’s beads.

Born from a passion for craftsmanship, every Copper Wagon EDC lanyard bead is carefully designed, assembled, turned, and polished in very small batches. Every Copper Wagon EDC lanyard bead is one-of-a-kind. Past drops/themes are not repeated.

The ProtoPlay bead comes to you with a signed certificate of authenticity, extra paracord, and limited edition CW and NRG swag.

The ProtoPlay EDC beads were fine tuned to work perfectly on your standard 6mm spin-sticks, bead caddies, or as a lanyard bead, or zipper-pull.

Each meticulously crafted bead possesses a unique, evolving character and enduring charm, designed to withstand the test of time and the rigors of everyday life, ensuring it becomes a cherished heirloom for generations to come.

A total of 13 ProtoPlay beads were made but only 6 are available through the Copper Wagon shop-drop.
