Subglacial EDC lanyard beads (GLOW)

Handmade in California by Tim Markel, the Subglacial EDC lanyard beads are the 44th one-time “shop drop” by the Orange County-based maker and the first to feature Dichrolam. Dichrolam is an incredibly strong composite material created by laminating layers of dichroic film - ultra thin reflective coatings that manipulate light - under crystal clear resin. The films are engineered to selectively reflect and transmit specific wavelengths of light, producing vibrant shifting colors like a butterfly’s wings or the shimmering play of colors on an oily puddle of water. To achieve distinct separation between the four Skur Composites glow layers, thin layers of OD green G10 have been incorporated. These layers create a clear contrast, especially in low-light conditions when the glow layers are fully charged.

Born from a passion for craftsmanship, every Copper Wagon EDC lanyard bead is carefully designed, assembled, turned, and polished in very small batches. Every Copper Wagon EDC lanyard bead is one-of-a-kind. Past drops/themes are not repeated.
