Glass Pilot EDC lanyard beads (Grail drop #3)

Handmade in California by Tim Markel, the Glass Pilot lanyard beads are the 52nd one-time “shop drop” by the Orange County-based maker and the third Copper Wagon “Grail” drop. The Glass Pilot beads are the second CW drop to feature the legendary vintage spun blue glass phenolic.
Westinghouse Special Blue Glass is one of the rarest and most highly sought-after vintage materials in existence, often considered 'grail-level' by collectors. Westinghouse originally manufactured the Blue Glass recipe for decorative purposes in items requiring high heat resistance, such as tables. Produced for a brief period, likely in the 1980s, it was discontinued. As the remaining supply has been increasingly acquired by collectors, it has become exceedingly rare, with some even considering it nearly extinct.
Westinghouse produced the Special Blue Glass in two thicknesses: 1/8", which has a darker blue hue, and 1/4", which was used for the Glass Ghost beads. The Glass Pilot beads are crafted from the 1/8" Special Blue Glass.
Each Copper Wagon EDC lanyard bead comes to you accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity, extra paracord, and limited edition swag.
