Pyrokinesis EDC beads (GLOW)

Handmade in California by Tim Markel, the Pyrokinesis beads are the 72nd one-time shop-drop by the Orange County-based maker, and the 8th Copper Wagon Grail Drop.

Born from a passion for craftsmanship, every Copper Wagon EDC lanyard bead is carefully designed, assembled, turned, and polished in very small batches. Every Copper Wagon EDC lanyard bead is one-of-a-kind. Past drops/themes are not repeated.

Each meticulously crafted bead possesses a unique, evolving character and enduring charm, designed to withstand the test of time and the rigors of everyday life, ensuring it becomes a cherished heirloom for generations to come.

The Pyrokinesis beads feature a rare vintage Westinghouse black paper Micarta - known to some as “Black Ivorite”. The specific black paper Micarta used here, known as recipe #529, was originally produced by Westinghouse, likely in the 80s or early-mid 90s. After acquiring the Micarta division in 1995, International Paper continued limited production of 529 under a slightly altered formula, before selling the line to Norplex in 2003. The Westinghouse recipe appears to be XX while the International Paper formula seems to be XXX. There will be a future drop with the IP 529.

The beads feature red Skur Composites Hyperglow (glows orangish red) and aerospace grade titanium (grade 5).

The Pyrokinesis beads will come to you with an exclusive (aluminum, laser etched, ceramic blasted) Velcro-backed CW patch made by Brodie of Breakfast Club EDC - only available with this (and the last, Glass Atlas) grail drop.

The Pyrokinesis beads were fine tuned to work perfectly on your standard 6mm spin-sticks/bead-caddies, or as a lanyard bead, or zipper-pull.

A total of 15 Pyrokinesis beads were made but only 12 are available through the shop-drop. Every CW bead comes to you with a signed certificate of authenticity, themed paracord, and limited edition swag.
