Toxic Bloom EDC Lanyard Beads

FB GROUP EXCLUSIVE (2/12/25)
The Toxic Bloom EDC lanyard beads are the first CW drop to incorporate Catalin. Catalin is a brand of Bakelite which was the first synthetic plastic invented by Leo Baekeland in 1907. Catalin is a type of phenolic resin that was introduced in 1927 by the Catalin Corporation of America and was mainly used during the early 20th century.
Catalin is specifically a phenol formaldehyde resin but differs from other types of Bakelite due to its manufacturing process and properties. Unlike traditional Bakelite, which is opaque and typically dark, Catalin can be semi-transparent or translucent. The Catalin used in the Toxic Bloom beads was said to be from the ‘50s however up on further research it is believed to be much older (1930s-1940s).
Each Copper Wagon EDC lanyard bead comes to you accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity, extra paracord, and limited edition swag.
