Handmade in California by Tim Markel, the Rogue Currents EDC lanyard beads are the 46th one-time “shop drop” by the Orange County-based maker and the first to feature vintage rag micarta (ragcarta). The Ragcarta used in the Rogue Currents beads is a rare piece of history: antique German military phenolic material dating back to World War II (1937–1944). Unearthed from a nearly century-old warehouse, this vintage Micarta was originally crafted for practical applications such as equipment paneling, housing, and lockbox storage. The ragcarta’s surface has been brought to a high polish to reveal its internal fabric composition. With frequent use and exposure to the elements as part of your everyday carry, the material will continue to evolve, developing a unique new patina that tells the story of its journey with its owner.

Of the 12 Rogue Currents EDC lanyard beads, there are 4 that contain orange G10 rather than gray (rhino and slate) - dropped as an exclusive in the Copper Wagon EDC FB group.
